He is currently the principal clarinetist of the Hungarian State Opera. His most notable international competition results include a special prize at the 2007 Geneva International Music Competition and fourth prize at the 2009 Carl Nielsen International Clarinet Competition. In 2013, with his program titled \u201cMusic Inspired by Folk Traditions from Central and Eastern Europe,\u201d he won Juilliard\u2019s grant competition, which led to a solo recital at Carnegie Hall\u2019s Weill Recital Hall. In recognition of his work, the Opera awarded him the Vilmos Komor Memorial Plaque in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-ast-global-color-8-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-62f84ccd18f86999a2492a1fd02e0b8f wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>T\u00f6t\u00f6s Krisztina<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-thumbnail\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/gallaiverseny.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/TK_ig.kep_-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-597\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-ast-global-color-8-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-8ee94ca888b1e6a873b3f71ce9dfa12d wp-block-paragraph\">Krisztina T\u00f6t\u00f6s graduated as a clarinet teacher from the Liszt Academy of Music in 2005. From 1996 to 2022 she was principal clarinet of the St. Stephen's Philharmonic Orchestra. Founding member of the Pentaerophonia Budapest Wind Quintet and the Sinfonietta Erudita chamber ensemble.In 2012, she obtained a DLA doctorate. She currently works as an education management and training development specialist at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-8-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-50021d436a0852fe29e383549c1c40fe wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>P\u00e9ter Sz\u0171cs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-thumbnail\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/gallaiverseny.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Szucs-Peti-2023-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-723\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-8-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-abd790d236225b061f56ff89d3150fe7 wp-block-paragraph\">Artisjus award-winning clarinet artist, senior lecturer at the Bart\u00f3k B\u00e9la Faculty of Music, University of Miskolc. After completing his studies at the musical institutions of Karcag and B\u00e9k\u00e9scsaba, he studied clarinet at the Budapest Academy of Music and bass clarinet at the Conservatoire in Paris. He won the Fischer Annie scholarship twice, which has led him to promote Hungarian 20th century and contemporary music, which he has since made one of his missions. He has a regular working relationship with the UMZE chamber ensemble, the Schallfeld Ensemble (Austria) and with several national orchestras. He and his chamber music partners have performed in several major cities around the world. Between 2002-2006 studied at the Le\u00f3 Weiner Music Secondary School in Budapest in the class of N\u00e1ndor G\u00f6tz. In 2006, he continued his studies in the department of Christian Wirth at the Maurice Ravel Conservatoire in Paris. He obtained his Master's degree in the Classical Saxophone Department of Dr. Levente Pusk\u00e1s at the University of Debrecen. During his studies, he had the opportunity to attend courses by renowned professors such as Claude Delangle, Vincent David and Lars Mlekusch. Education plays an important role in his life.
